I am married to Bob and we have two adult children - Jennifer and Daniel.
We have a wonderful grandson, Steven Frederick Atwood, the son of our daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Clayton (Chip). He was born on September 19, 1997. Unfortunately for his grandparents, they live in North Carolina which is not exactly aroung the corner from Windham, New York.
Our son, Daniel is a white collar type who doubles as an amazing snowboard instructor on the weekends!
I am an avid golfer, tennis player and skier. My husband and I teach skiing to both disabled and able-bodied skiers. I feel fortunate to live in a beautiful ski community 60 miles south and west of Albany, where I can see the trails of Ski Windham from my kitchen windows. This makes it difficult, at times, to think about writing books, grading papers, reading journals or planning lectures, when the snow on the mountain calls to me. Of course, it is equally difficult to concentrate in summer, fall and spring, since the mountaintop is so very beautiful in every season. So ...I can be found in my office at St. Rose when work needs to be done.
